Welcome to the 2013 -2014 school year at Taft HS and Communications Arts HS. Taft-ComArts PTSA is excited to be a positive addition to your high school life. Whether you are a parent, teacher, or student, PTSA can be your strongest advocate; we are a group of dedicated parents doing what PTA does best: providing resources and programs to all families.

On the whole, PTA addresses issues that are important to parents and public school administrators. As our schools continue to grow and service more students, PTA strives to meet the changing challenges that affect our children. PTA works with the support of parents, teachers, and staff to meet the needs with one goal in mind—to make a difference in the life of a child!

Taft-ComArts PTSA
is here to help in any way we can. However, the ultimate success lies in the support that the population of the school gives the PTSA; the population of parents, teachers, and students collectively. At State and National PTA levels, there are advocates with a voice for children from all walks of life, speaking out for them to help raise the standards of safety, education, and life in general.

Your membership dues help support local PTSA in addition to State and National PTAs. However, membership dues are only a part of the support. Your involvement and time are needed as well. We understand that your family’s life is busy and time is valuable. But any amount of time you have is welcomed and more importantly appreciated.

An investment in your child’s school is an investment in their future. Get to know your children’s friends and other parents and you will get to know more about your child! Taft-ComArts PTSA welcomes your involvement and we know that the more supportive the volunteers, the stronger the PTSA and the more our children will benefit.

Have a safe and successful school year!
